About this image

Agricultural workers harvest blueberries in rows of lush green bushes under protective bird netting in Western Australia. Farm hands with green picking crates work methodically through the berry plantation, with their backs turned to the camera as they focus on collecting the ripe fruit. The overhead netting system shields the valuable blueberry crop from bird damage while workers move along grass pathways between the dense, healthy plants. This scene captures the labor-intensive nature of commercial berry production during peak harvest season in WA's thriving horticultural industry.
