Young photographer Alice Mabin spent five months documenting the iconic Brinkworth cattle drive, moving with nine mobs across Queensland and NSW while capturing over 10,000 images. Her experience resulted in publishing her first book, "The Drover," featuring nearly 200 pages of photographs that highlight the drovers' dedication and the challenging realities of the cattle drive.

Alice Mabin, a Roma-based photographer and part-time animal nutritionist, documented one of Australia's most iconic cattle drives by spending five months traveling with drovers moving 18,000 head of cattle from Winton, Queensland to Hay, New South Wales. Unlike other photographers who visited briefly, she immersed herself in the experience, capturing over 10,000 images that revealed the dedication and pride of the drovers.

Her dedication resulted in publishing her first book, The Drover, featuring nearly 200 pages of stunning photographs. The project began unexpectedly when she joined boss drover Billy Little for what she thought would be a single day, but she stayed for the entire journey. Initially facing skepticism from some drovers accustomed to media manipulating scenes, she earned their respect by proving herself "just a farm girl" willing to work alongside them on horses and motorbikes.
