New book salutes heavy transport industry

Photographer Alice Mabin has released her second self-published book, The Driver, a comprehensive exploration of Australia's heavy transport industry. Following the success of her previous work, The Drover, which became an Australian bestseller, Mabin spent considerable time documenting the lives of trucking professionals across Australia and New Zealand. The 228-page volume features stories and striking photography from 110 different trucking companies and drivers, capturing the diverse businesses and routes that form the backbone of the nation's transport sector.

IOR Petroleum supported Mabin's project, recognizing its importance in highlighting how critical the trucking industry is to everyday life. The book presents the never-before-seen real life tale of the captivating lives of truck drivers.
