Alice Mabin's debut book The Drover captured one of Australia's most historic cattle drives, becoming a national bestseller and winning four Australian bestseller awards. The book documents the 2,000-kilometer journey of 18,000 head of cattle from Queensland to New South Wales.
What began as a single day visiting the drove turned into five months of immersive documentation. Alice's photographs preserve a way of life that is increasingly rare in modern Australia, earning her international recognition and establishing her as one of the country's foremost agricultural photographers.
